Tim started the bulk of his training at the beginning of the summer and has been steadfast in his resolve to run this race. I know that his friends and family have all been in awe of him during this journey. So on race day a group of us, some armed in Team Jenny shirts and others in Go Daddy shirts (I'll let you guess who!), headed out to cheer on our boy.
I'm happy to say that Tim not only finished the race, but beat his goal time which was under 4 hours. He finished in 3 hours and 39 minutes, and placed in 5964th place, which may not sound that impressive until you realize there were over 39,000 runners you realize that he did an AMAZING job for his first marathon. I mean the longest race he's done before this was an 8k. I cannot tell you how proud I am of this guy (and slightly jealous of his physique!). I know Jenny is too.
