Disney Surprise, Part Two

Our second full day at Disney World was the one I was most looking forward to. I am a huge fan of the Magic Kingdom, and knew it would be the biggest hit for the boys. Initially we talked about going the first day, but a friend pointed me toward the crowd calendar predictor on Undercover Tourist and we decided that Friday would be a better bet crowd/craziness wise.

Friday morning we got up pretty early and headed over to the Magic Kingdom. When we got there we grabbed a few fast passes and started checking out the rides! The first ride we hit up was Dumbo, which has been moved to a new area of the New Fantasyland that opened this past year. It appeared to have a super short line which is why we picked it, but what we didn't realize is they moved the line inside a building. Despite the fact that it wasn't a ride to just walk on the people at Disney are geniuses and made the inside of the bldg a large indoor playground. When you enter they give you a pager and off you go to play, then when it's your time to ride Dumbo they page you. Pretty ingenious! After Dumbo we saw Mickey's Philharmagic (my favorite), rode on Peter Pan's Magic Flight and It's a Small World before heading over to the new Be Our Guest for lunch. Tim & the boys also went on a carousel ride while my mom & I waited in the line for lunch.

After lunch we had an ice cream treat, then headed back to our room for naps. We wanted to make sure we were at MK for the fireworks that night, and knew the boys wouldn't make it that long, so a nap was in order! After nap we took a boat back to MK where we hit up more rides. The first up was the new Under the Sea: The Voyage of the Little Mermaid which I was excited about. lol. We had to get a fast pass for that one before we left in the afternoon, and we still didn't get to ride until 6pm. Next up Buzz Lightyear's Space  Ranger Spin followed by the Astro Orbiter, then dinner. We finished up dinner just in time to watch the fireworks! Some time with friends, followed by a trip to the confectionary, and we were ready to head home for the night!

We ran into my friend Myndee at MK! Super exciting!!

The boys had a great time running around for a good half hour with Myndee's kids (from L to R), Kadence, Dylan, & Gavin. Such cuties!

That about wraps up our second day! I was initially going to post day 3 as well right now, but then I realized that would be a LOT of pictures for one post, so I'll save that for another day! Spread out the Disney fun!!
